Hostel

Hostel plays an important role in the academic, spiritual, social, moral and physical development of students. The borders are provided with neat and clean environment in the hostel. Special care is taken of the students’ health and they are provided hygienic balanced food.

  • The students are facilitated with special coaching classes which help in their educational improvement. Teachers of every subject are available to the students at any time to help them in solving their problems.
  • Arrangements are made for the prayers and recitation of the Holy Quran to strengthen their spiritual character.
  • The students are trained to become an important part of the society.
  • The students are kept under certain obligations formulated for developing their moral behavior.
  • First – Aid is given at the hostel in case of emergency. However the students are taken to the hospital if required.
  • The hostel is administered by a Warden having required experience in running hostel in an organized manner.

Conduct & Discipline

  • Firearms, lethal weapons or any other dangerous material is strictly prohibited.
  • Unauthorized persons are not allowed in the hostel.
  • Shifting to room other than the one allotted to the boarder without prior permission of the warden is not allowed.
  • Non payment of hostel dues during the period of the year, for which allotment is made in the hostel, shall expel the occupant from staying in the hostel.
  • Keeping or using drugs or intoxicants, other than prescribed by the authorized medical doctor is strictly forbidden.
  • Inviting or entertaining guests in the hostel is not allowed.
  • Engaging in any immoral or agitation and violent activities or creating nuisance or disturbance shall be dealt with strictly.
  • Causing willful damage and/ or causing damage by acts of vandalism, removing or damaging hostel property shall be considered grounds for expulsion.
  • Use of abusive language towards other boarders, authorities and employees shall be viewed as gross violation of discipline.
  • Staying away from the hostel premises without prior permission from the hostel authorities is not permitted. Hostel schedule is to be strictly followed.
  • The hostel authorities reserve the right to search the personal belongings and baggage of the residents at the time of entering the hostel or while residing in the allotted accommodation.
  • The hostel administration is not responsible for the loss of any property of the hostel resident. Valuable items are to be kept with hostel warden.
  • All damages will be repaired at the expense of the boarder responsible.
  • No newspapers, periodicals or magazines shall be removed from the reading room.
  • Student shall take due care of the bathrooms. Water wastage should be avoided. Any one found doing this intentionally will be liable to punishment.
  • Defacing walls and fixtures is strictly prohibited. Moreover, the furniture or fixtures will not be moved from one room to another and the residents are particularly warned against removing furniture from the mess and common room.
  • Students must keep their rooms clean and tidy. The beds should be properly arranged and covered. Dirty clothes should be stored separately. Mess area and common room are to be kept clean.
  • Spitting in rooms, verandah or on stairs is prohibited.
  • All waste papers and garbage must be thrown in receptacles provided for this purpose.
  • No sectarian ceremony which may hurt the feelings of other boarders shall be arranged in the hostel.
  • No border shall indulge in any amusement that disturbs other boarders. No TV/ Radio/Computer/ MP3’s, Tape recorders are permitted in hostel. Keeping cell phones and other electronic audio video equipment in the hostel is strictly forbidden. Students can use hostel phone if necessary.
  • A student who has been found guilty of misconduct or indiscipline by the competent authority shall be expelled from the hostel.
  • The schedule prayers, mess and prep timing are to be followed strictly.
  • The senior student members of hostel council are to be given due respect.
